Why Vyana

Fresh Air Built for Real Life

Sleep deeper, stay sharper, breathe easier, spend less — outcomes you notice, not a laundry list of specs.

<45 dB Whisper-quiet nights

Sleep deeper

Stale air out before bed

Night-time CO₂ and stuffiness can wreck sleep quality. Vyana quietly exchanges air so bedrooms feel fresher — without the racket of a typical fan.

Easier wind-down, quieter nights

Balanced air Work & study hours

Boost focus

Less afternoon fog

When ventilation lags, CO₂ climbs and concentration dips. Vyana adapts in real time so home offices and homework zones stay clearer when it matters.

Stay sharper through long days

MERV 8 Fewer symptom spikes

Reduce fatigue

Allergens & dust, filtered

Pollen, dust, and pet dander wear you down even when you don't see them. Built-in filtration catches what matters so “off days” happen less often.

Easier breathing at home

Up to 15% Typical savings

Trim wasted energy

Ventilation that learns

Instead of blasting fans on a schedule, Vyana syncs with weather and indoor air so you ventilate when it actually helps — trimming HVAC waste without you babysitting dials.

Lower bills, same comfort

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

I have an amazing air filter, why do I need to ventilate?

Air filters, even the best ones, cannot remove CO2 from your home, while ventilation can. Additionally, most air filters don't capture VOCs effectively. Ventilation is more efficient at improving indoor air quality. (Reference: "The role of air filtration in controlling indoor airborne particles" - Indoor Air Journal, 2017)

Why are opening and closing my windows not enough?

Constantly opening and closing windows can be a hassle, especially considering unpredictable weather and humidity levels. Open windows may also introduce allergens. The optimal window opening time, based on our extensive analysis, is between 2 AM and 5 AM. (Reference: "Natural Ventilation for Infection Control in Health-Care Settings" - World Health Organization, 2009)

I have indoor plants, shouldn't that be enough?

While aesthetically pleasing, indoor plants don't significantly improve air quality. To make a difference, you'd need to dedicate more than 80% of your floor space to plants. (Reference: "Foliage Plants for Improving Indoor Air Quality" - NASA, 1989)

Why do I need two fans?

To effectively exchange indoor air, you need one fan to push fresh air in and another to push stale air out. Vyana works with your existing HVAC unit to circulate fresh air. (Reference: "Ventilation and Infiltration" - ASHRAE Handbook, 2017)

Can you explain the energy savings claim?

Our analysis of a modern home in 66 populated cities worldwide, following ASHRAE standards, suggests an average of 15% energy savings with Vyana. (Reference: "Energy Savings Potential and Research, Development, & Demonstration Opportunities for Commercial Building HVAC Systems" - U.S. Department of Energy, 2011)

How did you determine that Vyana can filter 98% of airborne allergens?

Vyana utilizes an activated charcoal MERV 8 filter to optimize airflow and balance it with effective filtration. Based on the particle sizes of the 11 most common allergens, we anticipate the following approximate reductions in airborne allergens using a MERV 8 filter:

  • Grass pollen: 90-98% reduction (25-80 micrometers)
  • Birch pollen: 90-98% reduction (18-28 micrometers)
  • Oak pollen: 95-98% reduction (25-40 micrometers)
  • Alder pollen: 95-98% reduction (20-30 micrometers)
  • Ragweed pollen: 75-95% reduction (15-25 micrometers)
  • Cypress pollen: 90-98% reduction (18-30 micrometers)
  • Olive pollen: 90-95% reduction (18-22 micrometers)
  • Pine pollen: 95-98% reduction (30-100 micrometers)
  • Plantain pollen: 95-98% reduction (20-30 micrometers)
  • Mugwort pollen: 75-95% reduction (15-25 micrometers)
  • Mountain Cedar pollen: 95-98% reduction (20-30 micrometers)
